Many have asked Who Am I, I have decided to answer this age old question by telling some about myself. Come take a look at my life thru my eyes.
My Name is Smoke Warrior and I am of the Wolf Clan. I was raised among the wild animals of the forest and taught the ways of my mother's people. We are a proud people and we have barrowed the land from “Mother Earth”. She in her great love has given her all to the children of the wolf and because of her great love for all things great and small, I remain to teach the young and as the Great Spirit guides to teach them the way of the wolf. Aho.
My mother was a Medicine Woman and she taught me the way of her people; the way of the plants that grow wild and the benefits of the medicines that many carry within their roots, leaves and fruits.
She taught me to look at the whole person and not just the symptoms of the individual. When treating another we must treat the mind, body and soul. All things are connected to each other and in this way, perfect balance is restored.
My mother in her great wisdom would often remind me that we must be many things to many people. She would say, “Young one we are psychologist, life counsellors', therapists and doctors”.
We would often go for nature walks in the forest and she would call the wild timber wolves; they would come and the pack would sit beside us by the waterfalls near the bathing pool on the mountain.
The white wolf, “Alpha male” would sit beside me and place his head upon my lap. He would look deep into the soul of me the child and talk directly to my heart. Mother would smile and say, “He favours you young one for he see's many things inside you and his spirit is like your spirit”.
His mate the Grey wolf would howl and sing directly to my heart; to them I was family and though I lived in the world of the humans I was also living in their world.
Yes, to them I was like them and yet in my heart I was also Dragon. The wolf could see this within me as well as the many past lives that I had lived and the many forms I had taken.
This was evident to my mother; she adopted me at birth and all that remains of those that brought me into the world of flesh and bone, is the amulet that was around my neck and resting upon my chest. The Ancient Jade Dragon that is many thousand of years old. It is a part of me and me of it. It gives me my life's essence and allows me to walk in many places be it through dream or through portals and even transformation of my inner soul. They knew without doubt, that I walked in many worlds and they loved me for the heart of the dragon also beat in unison with the heart of the wolf.
The pups of the pack would seek me out and watch over me as I ran among the trees in the forest. Sometimes I would be gone for many days and nights for the forest was my home and the wild animals were my family.
There was a great sense of order and unity within the pack and I carried the lessons learn from observing them and living with them even now through my walk of life.
The lessons have served me well. When I dream, the visions of ancient warriors accompanied by my brothers and sisters of the Wolf Clan often come and give me council. They tell me that Mother Earth cries out and pleads for all nations to come together and speak in unison with one voice as one nation.
They tell me that all humanity is as one and all must put away the long rifles, bow and knives. They tell me the earth needs to heal; it cries out for each of us to return to the old ways and to respect the gifts that Mother gives us freely. They say teach the young and show them that to rape and pillage the earth is not right. To do so will bring about the end of the flesh and bone.
They take me high above the earth and say look. Show them Mother Earth through the eyes of the wolf, dragon and medicine man. Say to them see? Is not she truly an entity living and breathing?
I often go to the many “POW WOW”, that are held out in the open. I take part in the Hoop Dances and if I'm lucky I also get to share my stories with the young.
The young are eager to learn and they are also our future. It is through educating them and guiding them, that change will come.
I was wondering when you would get around to answering that question of "Who You Are", This is a great read and very true to the real you. Thank you for sharing some of yourself with so many.

Namaste Kenric DSouza, Thank you for your comments and support of my article; we learn many things from the animals if we take the time to observe them.
