Last Saturday we go to Systems Integration Philippines. We have seen there a lot of exhibit about the latest trends of technology, from printing, recording audio, video, broadcasting, lights, and many more. As the year goes by, technology change from time to time.
This event was held on SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia. Upon entering the hall, we see booths of different exhibits, and three rooms for different kinds of seminars. The place was good, the exhibit was good, as a music lover I learned a lot from going to booths with audio technology, and then we saw the “line array” demo. Line array is one of the known sound trends, this are group of loudspeakers in a hanging collection which creates a more distributed sound than a single speakers. I've seen their hardships hanging those big things above the metal bars they also set. Another incredible thing we saw is the interactive whiteboard. This is an ordinary whiteboard, then a lcd projector, which is projected on a board, and a pen which serves as a mouse which you can control the mouse pointer on the screen projected on the whiteboard, and also do some things like you are inside the computer. After that we saw a light presentations, different kind of lights, and even lasers are used as a light effects on a production. And then there's also a tarpaulin printer.
The Sound System also is great to see, we saw there the transparent electric guitar, different kinds of latest kind of amplifiers and a "vertec" speakers, vertec are used by known artists around the world, even here in the Philippines, this are used on a big events on a big place or area.
On the seminars, there are three rooms. Room 1 is occupied for seminar about printing systems sponsored by EPSON, room 2 is about audio seminars and seminar in recordings, setup of lights and sounds for concerts, and events and technical aspects of making sound system on church use, this seminars and audio technology is sponsored by PALMM Philippines. Then the third room is about kinds of systems and latest trend on wireless technology sponsored by COMM World. Seminars have time of sessions, there's a morning session, afternoon and before the closing, and the time varies depending on the schedule of the event, because the time of exhibit for each day is not the same. I really learned a lot from this exhibit and seminars specially on audio techniques and video editing.
