Sysinternals Bluescreen Screen Saver

One day I was cleaning up my computer. The main thing that my spyware program kept finding was a Joke/Bluescreen.b virus.

My whole desktop color changed to white with a giant Windows message, letting me know that I had two viruses on my computer. It was found in my windows system folder as 32b1phcsv2joe1bj.scr. It had a blue screen saver image and would not delete in my drive cleaning program. When I clicked on properties to find out who the maker of the program was, I could see the name of the maker with dates 1998-2004 version 3,2,0,0. However it could have came from anyone and anywhere using the so called software to download on my computer. When I tried to search the internet to find a virus program that might delete it, I could see that my Internet Explorer was not working correctly with the virus.

Words were extremely large in all of my Google searching. When I typed in the software site, it took me to a search engine site. Every time I tried to go to a certain site, the site was redirected to another. I could never really update my Internet Explorer browser. I guess I didn’t have enough room or memory in my computer. My computer would always reject the Windows Service Pack 2. I chose Firefox browser, and it stopped working for me completely because of the virus. The Blue Screen is a virus that would not go away. Once it decides to delete, it comes right back every time you boot the computer. I could not get to my system recovery, and my computer would not take anymore software programs that I tried to download.

Somehow I ended up with another virus searching the internet. I don’t even remember what it was that I was searching for. One of my cleaning programs found the virus in my computer. It was a virus that kept messing with my tmp files. It seemed to make copies of tmp files that were already in my computer system. The only way I could recognize the fake file is it had a different file extension and file image. It would look something like tt1.ttp. Vbs. It was a VBS/Agent.1002 unclassified threat in my local settings. I don’t know if it is part of the bluescreen virus.

I also had a backdoor virus in my local settings. It looked something like 74C1EF67.npb. Some of them could not be deleted. When I ran my ad-aware program, it found a virus called Antivirus XP 2008. It was a virus found in my registry and 28 items detected. I think these viruses were attacking my other files.

I try to keep my computer clean from errors and old files. I try to update. There is nothing wrong with my computer. It still boots up, and I have Windows XP, but, on the internet there are virus problems. You have to constantly update. Even then, there are virus problems. Virus programs may not always get rid of them or even recognize them.

The virus that creates the blue screen is a devilish creature. I use System Mechanic to repair errors like these. Usually the "blue" error is created by a registry problem. ;)

These little devils sound scary. I do the updates and run my cleaning programs, so far it has worked out well.

Hi Gerlaine and Ruby,

I think it is a registry problem too and updating is very important. If you don't update, it's easier to get a virus then. I couldn't even error check my disk. I think the virus destroyed all of that. I was able to do so in safe mode with a boot up disk, but even the programs on it were old. Constant update is the key. The virus appears to be gone, but I don't think my coputer even recognizes it. I think the virus is not completely gone or it damaged my computer system some. The best thing to do is just start over.

Virus is scary as it'll eat up your data. So, make sure you've an appropriate anti-virus software installed! Thanks and take care!
