We never really grow up to be astronauts or super models. We just grow up and do the best we can.
If you ever really think of how many jobs we all had… the list can go on forever… and then we settle for the job that gets us by and the job that pays the bills. It's hard to explain to your kids how life takes us to different paths; we never do what our college trade was… Do we? It seems we spend a ton of money on college tuition. And we never do what our plan was…
I ask my kids that everyday… so now what - I have seventy five thousand dollars worth of loans and we still don't know what we want to do… The bills will never go away, and there with us forever and forever, we just try to pay the small bills and keep making the big bills get bigger….
So, the next time your college-educated child asks you Mom, how am I going to pay for these bills? Tell them just get a job, like really today and do the best you can, cause it will only drive you crazy if you stop and think about it life is like a box of chocolates just like “Forest Gump” said. You never know which one will get you the right job; it depends on how hard you want it…. And how hard you need it…
