Yesterday, I went to the movies with my friends. (there are new movie theaters in Ghana!!!) Before the movie, we went to different stores and bought JUNK FOOD to smuggle into the theater. (we were going to watch the new James Bond: Quantum of Solace) We thought the security would be low...we got our two bottles of .5 liter Coke taken away, 1 bag of fizzers and a bag of nice mints. So, we went inside hungry to discover that our other friends had managed to smuggle their bags of chips and sodas in!!! So, just because the theater is in a not totally urbanized country, it doesn't mean that security is LOW!
Well, because we were in a 3rd world country, not many people can afford the 10 dollars for the movie ticket. So... since the armrests could go up and down :) and since there was less than 35 people watching the movie with us,(in the whole theater) we could stretch across four seats and watch the movie comfortably. ANYWAY, we got our "goods" back without the guards giving us a number and everything was still there! Then, we ate the candy! YAY!
