My dearest Mama,
It is very hard to write a letter to someone so close and so extra special to your heart. You just do not know how to begin it or express what you truly want to say. You know, the feeling that you like to say so many things but is afraid that words might fail to give a perfect description of what you truly feels. And so I will just sum it up in this three little words “I LOVE YOU.”
I know we never really are fond of saying “I love you.” For us, it goes without saying. We just feel it. It is automatically understood. We never really have to utter these three magic words that works wonder when put together. We just show it in the things we do for each other.
Mom, I want to thank you for saying, “I love you” in many different ways to us your children. Through the years, you have shown it by taking care of us and providing us with all our needs. Even when you were scolding us when we did something wrong, you were saying, “I love you” very loud and clear because you do not want us to get astray in life.
But there are times that we must not stop ourselves from saying this three wonderful words especially on an occasion like this. This three words that not only bring a smile to our lips but more so to our very soul not only because it is very seldom that we heard it said but because it is everything that we are to each other. It is the most important ingredient that binds us together.
And so on this memorable occasion, let me tell you:
I love you mama. Thank you for being a good mother to us. May God gives you a long, healthy and a prosperous happy life.
