She stood with him. "I really was going to go on break but half way back I knew there is something I have to do. I would like to introduce this young woman to you but I bet most of you know her name better than you know me. In case someone is totally out of touch, this is Karen Harris of the TV show, "For Women Only". Guys, if you want to learn how to relate to a woman, watch it now and then. They have good stuff there, not the usual daytime fare. She and Patti there are two brilliant women, far above the airheads that host many shows. She and I have had two meals together so if you are a reporter for the Hollywood gossip rags go report it but be honest, tell them we are just friends. She is one of the two most beautiful women I have known and as you can see, she is well past both pretty, I would define her as drop dead gorgeous.

God gives me a lot of input to how to run my life. I miss it at times but I try to take some of it. He put me in a place last evening to get to know her. We were both eating alone in the same small restaurant. I am not smart enough to know his ways or ideas so I will have to wait and see if this was to make something bigger or just give the two of us a couple of evenings of company we both needed. Either way it was good. If he wills us to be together, based on what I know of her now, I will concur with that easily. She's as nice privately as she is pretty. If he tells me to walk away, I will have to ask, "God are you sure." I will try to listen and do what he tells me because I know that he knows best. But it will be difficult. Guys, I hope you know that. The girl doesn't matter. God's best for you does."

He looked at Karen. "I know you came here to have a night away from things but do you want to share anything?"

She smiled, took the mic and held it uncomfortably. "I'm used to these things being smaller and attached to me so I don't have to hold them. This thing is heavy enough to drive a nail." There was laughter. "I'm also accustomed to audiences that are controlled by signs that a production assistant holds up that says things like "applause." There was a lot of clapping. "Gee, I didn't think it would happen without the signs." There was another round of applause. "I met this really great guy last night. He walked up to my table at a restaurant.

We sort of met on my TV show about a year ago, I wanted to have dinner with him after the show but we missed each other and never got together. I don't know yet if meeting him was God's way of getting me past a hard time or if it is more than that. But I know our meeting last night was not an accident. And I know I needed the time we spent together last night. It has been really hard since my accident. And I know that song he just sang was for me. It may have been for some of you too but it was for me." She turned around to the leader. "I know this is unusual and probably sounds weird, but do you guys think you can give me a C cord and just follow me a little? I just need a little background. If it is ok for me to sing?"

The leader shrugged, Darin smiled and nodded, the leader nodded back, Darin squeezed her hand and went to the keyboard.

She looked back, they gave her the cord and she started to sing, "Live for Jesus, that's what matters, and when other houses crumble mine are strong. Live for Jesus, that's what matters. Till they see the light in me and come along." Darin had no idea she knew the song, it was one they usually sung but for some reason they had just not used in the first set.

She motioned to them to continue and they joined in. On the third time she called to the audience, "Sing it with us a couple times. And think about what you are singing. This is important." After about three refrains she started into the song "Because He lives." She sang the first verse and chorus and then started the second,

"How sweet to hold a new born baby,
