A Stranger's Call

World problems and human indifference.

In troubled times we lay our path
Stand up, be strong this may not last.
Strangers silent call;
No sign of ease amidst the rush,
This World shall watch him fall.

Some may not have a voice to speak
Or no concern but what to eat;
Hungers tragic rise.
Our worthless thoughts save none but us,
Lets watch our friends demise.

The rich man and his weekend whore,
The battered wife behind closed doors;
Infidelities little lies.
And while we say, 'Well it's not us',
Another victim dies.

Children armed with bloody guns,
A Mothers scream for her lost sons;
War's futile game.
Some hope for them I think it not,
While views remain the same.

How perfect is our human race,
To watch the World sink to this state?
Mankind's deadly flaws;
Oh pray that we shall some day wake,
And see that we're the cause.
