I Believe

Thoughts of believing in one's self.

I believed when no one else did
So, I followed the dream
With the thoughts of a million men
Marching with Dr. King
I believed against all odds
They said it wouldn't be
But my thoughts are like a million slaves
With the desire to be free
I believed when no one else would
In blood I paid the cost
With the mind frame of a million Jews
Trapped in the Holocaust
I believed when no one else could
In faith I stood alone
With the thoughts that echoed a million voices
Of soldiers dying to come home
Against all odds, believe!!
