Lazy Day in Summer

Childhood pastime.

Lazy Day in Summer

Working in the garden.

     I stumbled on a bargain.

Familiar the sound...   Far, far away...

My heart began to pound. Where had I heard that sound?

     I know, I screamed!  It was ice-cream!!!

Round and round the truck rolled.  Chiming sound: It's a small world after all!

I began to sing, laughter filled the air.   In the moment I re-lived a dream!

Steady motion it didn't miss a beat.

It struck it's cord: It's a small world.

It's a small world, after all. It's a small world after all... It's a small world after all...

                                             It's a small, small world
