Lost Love

My love, both new and lost.

She had hair as bright as the sun.
Her smile reminded me of Christmas mornings.
The anticipation of seeing her seemed unbearable as I tossed and turned the night before.
Magic was the only way I can describe the odd feelings running through my body when I touched her soft gentle hand.
I loved her like it was my last day on Earth.
But she loved another they way I loved her
And so like so many things in this world we had to part
But it was not for it to be
For another Love was meant to be my destine
She too has the smile of a Goddess and brings forth with her the feelings of love and life.
She is my soul and mate but not soulmate for they are two things in there own and not meant to be as one.
A best friend and companion who taught me love and life after the death of one love
She is all I need and know
She is me and I am her.
