Many Years Later

Its a poem about a special friend of mine in the past who broke me into pieces when she chose to remove me from her life.

Many years later, we still keep quiet.
After the day that passed, when you treated me badly!
Why oh why did you do this to me?
Why crush that special love that circulated you through the years?
But it seems to me you have no idea what love or friendship is meant to be!
And I know, you have nothing which teaches you the cries that someone like me suffers for the silliness of your actions.
Years ago, we were the best of friends!
We smiled and cheered.
We loved and greeted!
All throughout the time, we had the best times!
But not once did I think that you will do such a grave sin.
By leaving me then and moving on your days with other strangers.

A sincere write of emotional turmoil.

A sad tale of love and loss. Is it better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all? I think so. As painful as it is, it is an experience which develops our character - testing to see what we will do and say to someone who has hurt us. All of life\'s experiences add up to make us who we are.
