Memories

This is an emotional poem about memories I wrote a long time ago.

Memories are reflections of the past,
That haunt our dreams and turn then into nightmares
Memories can wake your day, or crush it unmercifully
Memories can make you fell alone,
As much as we may lie,
Our memories hold the truth.
Happy memories, sad memories, we remember them all.
Just the sound of the wind hissing through the trees,
Or the sound of twigs breaking can jog our memories.
Memories make us who we are,
they create and break us.
Without memories
We wouldn't be who we are.
Are memories are precious to us.
