Movies

My experiences working at the local movie theater.

Lights, Camera, and Action
Every Film is a coming attraction.
Movies come and go,
But the ones to watch, only I would know.
Batman, Superman, and Spiderman,
Heroes I have seen throughout my lifespan.
I would work the projector upstairs,
Watching everyone enter, usually in pairs.
The movie takes people to another place,
Earth, Mars, and even Space.
Some are called a chick flick,
They are often too dumb and make me sick.
Action, Comedy, and Sci-Fi,
Those are the movie types that catch my eye.
When the credits begin,
People show either a frown or a grin.
The movies bring people together in the end,
Which is why they don’t care how much they spend.
