My Saturday Love

Receiving love as it is given although few and far between.

So nice to see you in your faded pants and wreckless shirt.
Show me a thing or two about all that you do.
Dance with my heart while time allows, my Saturday love.
Have lunch and tell me only things you can.
Give of yourself for today is the day.
Warm me from the chill of your absence, my Saturday love.
Hold me tight until I ask you to stop.
Lay with me as we watch t.v.
Allow your scent to rest upon my body, my Saturday love.
This day is so wonderful, yet so bleak, for
Today is borrowed there is no tomorrow.
And I will yearn for you too soon, my Saturday love.
How do I sleep without you to wake with?
You give so much yet remove your touch
I dread your departure, even when you arrive, my Saturday love.
I fear that I will never know love like yours.
Yet, the same love you do not think of.
I will hate succumbing to our loss, my Saturday love.

Hi Michael!
Nice to see you here.
I'm sorry to say that I infrequently check my comments and did not notice that you were here until I saw your note in MBL.
Thanks for the UMPH...
I hope to see you around these parts and others as well. *>)
