No More Wars

People's feelings when their loved one's are fighting in a war.

Countries turn to sodden hate
Piece and love are all too late,
People of power decide our fate
We have no say just sit and wait.
Loved ones sent to fight a war
Some won't come home any more,
None refuse they have no voice
They don't say no it's not their choice.
Men will say the don't agree
But war will choose their destiny,
Scared but brave they soldier on
Missing loved ones while they're gone.
Many heroes born in war
Not knowing what they're fighting for,
Is it freedom we debate,
Or simply religion, power and hate.
People united rallying round
Debris and bodies strewn the ground,
Every family hurt with pain
Never have a war again.
