Unfulfilled

You wake up one day and suddenly feel that there's something wrong, but you just can't see what it is that you're missing. You thought that love was enough, but it turned out that you're still unfulfilled.

Awakened your eyes seem to be
Beside those promises you took
You have grasped much of the joy
Without turning your head back to look

Feeling those seamless moments once more
You are bursting again with smiles
But opening your eyes from all the truth
You have never driven such long miles

An impeccable fact in the dark
A blessing you see in black shroud
Never felt such starkness before
Never heard aches screaming out loud

You felt everything down the drain
Nothing left of that starry night
You had love all around the world
But everything doesn't feel so right

Romance in the air isn't really all
The next you see are falling stars
With those kisses and goodbyes you felt
Promises come broken leaving you scars

You just can't see what it is that you're missing
Everything felt perfect with a love to share
But it wasn't enough to fill those spaces
That vow you took you just can't bear
