What is a Father

The true meaning of being a father.

A Father is someone who still takes time to play
Even when he’s dead tired from work all day
A Father is someone who makes his family happy
Even though he may be feeling crappy
A Father is someone who may be feeling down
But still takes the time to be a clown
A Father is someone who brings home toys
Just so he can see the happy faces on his boys
A Father is someone who his boys depend on
& they miss his terribly when he is gone
A Father is someone who makes things happen
Even when the world has gone to crappin’
A Father is someone who his boys can look up to
When they need to be taught a lesson or two
A Father is someone who we can’t live without
Not even beyond a shadow of a doubt
