Young Sally

Poem on child abuse what looks normal isnt always.

Young sally sits and stares
Out the window every day
Watching children play games
Sally laughs at them
Some days sally is sad
Because mum tells sally there bad
And they would tell on dad
If they found out
So sally is confined to the house
Sally was shy bruises she hides
Behind the curtains and blinds
Dad is not very nice to mum
Sally hides under the table
Mum hides her black eyes with makeup
She loves him but dad drinks
People out side think sally is
Shy and waves
But inside her head she would like to
Escape this silence
PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR CHILD ABUSE
And save sally the pain any longer
