Stranded

As he lay on the beach, face in the sand and a mouthful of water, he lay in a daze.

He was 23, not too tall, actually pretty short, for his descending was of the royal family of Europe. He had medium length hair, it was dirty blonde. His name was Jones, from Cancun. His family was of Europe, but he was more of a traveler, he wanted to see the world, so he took a job as a fisherman. The story he tells all, when they ask about the dreadful life of suffering and pain, agony, and stress that he endured on that island, always goes like this...

As always, that one ship comes, the sky turns to black and the sea churns as if it was a blender and sucks all life into a black hole into the deepest depths of all earth. The winds suck the very life from your soul and leave your eyes empty, as empty as the soul of the captain of that... that ship. It seems to stop all time as if it were all controlled as a clock. Then when you blink, all senses are paralyzed and you are frozen as if dead and about to meet the creator of all living. Your eyes open and you are face to face with the captain of the ship, his eyes are hollow and his voice is the wind, his heart is the thunder of the clouds and his grasp on your neck with his coarse skin is that of a Boa Constrictor, you don't stand a chance at the power of this god like figure before you...

So you close your eyes tight and don't open them in fear that you'll see your murderer before you are murdered. Others are running from the scene as if it is a war scene, but all you hear is the slow words of the captain...

"So you--------- believe that you could--------- run from me---------?" He blew across the wind... "This--------- wasn't the best of ideas----------, you shall be---------- dead!!!!" He screams as he throws you off the ship and into the churning seas. You open your eyes again, in the water and see that all is calm, but you look up and see the crew jumping off the ship in hope of surviving the attack, then you blink once more and it is quiet...

You continue to float toward nothing, and then eventually land on an island, but it is so far away that by the time you get there, you are usually dead or unconscious, and that's what happened to Jones, he was lucky enough to survive though.

As Jones stood up and started to make his way to a rock on the beach, to sit and lean against, he realized that what had happened was real. Jones nearly fell to the ground before he noticed that there was something, or someone, in tide. So, Jones got up and walked over, no sure what it was, he grabbed a big stick to protect himself. It turned out to be a big fish, dead in the waves… he couldn't tell how it died, but he was starving, and needed something to eat soon, so he thought about what he could use to make a fire pit, he knew that it would be really important that he has a place to cook… then Jones realized that it would be getting dark soon, so he had to act fast and start building a shelter, otherwise, whatever was out there could get him…

So Jones started to build his shelter, it once the frame was up, it wasn't too sturdy… so he thought that he should take a break from building a shelter, to start building a fire because he was starting to become weak and tired from building the shelter and he hadn't eaten in… so long, since he was first thrown overboard from the ship. That fish that he found on the shore had been cleaned and cut into strips, Jones was so good at cooking fish and cleaning them, that it took him barely anytime at all to hang the fish to dry… by the time that the fire was started and ready for cooking it was starting to get cold and dark out, Jones thought that the fish should be ready for cooking by now… so he got up and started toward the tree branch that was keeping the fish off of the ground and away from the little animals that would love a nice fish for dinner. On his way, he heard a rustle in the bushes… it startled him, but Jones wasn't one to give up a good chance at another possible meal… so he grabbed a nice big rock and started toward the bush and he heard a low grumbling, sort of squeaky noise, and immediately he realized that it wasn't worth eating, probably a rat or squirrel, he thought… as he tossed the rock over his shoulder, he continued toward the fish.

I hope you like this, I wrote it when I was 14. I don't think that I'll be checking back to these comments too often.
