I am a very bright sock with bands of red, yellow and blue running from my toe to my elasticated top, my sister is called Poppy Right sock and we live with our owner in a lovely big house in the sock draw.
We were out in the car on a bright sunny day on our way to the beach, on the feet of Paula's daughter who is named Annabel. Out of the car we got, and ran excitedly down to the beach to the waters edge.Yuk the water was cold and tasted very horrible, " take your socks off Annabel " said her mother " OK " came the reply as she tore off first Poppy then me, then she ran down the beach yelling with delight into the water.
Paula picked up Poppy and put her into the picnic basket and walked off along the beach, Oh no! she has forgotten me cried Lilly. Paula and Annabel went further down the beach as poor Lilly watched with tears running down into her elasticated chin, all of a sudden something tugged at her, turning around to see who was doing it she saw a strange thing, it had 6 spinney legs and two big claws, one of which was holding onto her. Hello said the strange creature I am a crab and I couldn t help but see that you have been crying whats the matter.
Lilly explained what had happened " Oh dear " the kindly crab said,jump on my back and I will take you down the beach to your owner, " that would be so kind of you if you could do that " Lilly hopped up on the crabs rather uncomfy back and off they set.
My name is Frank the crab told here and I live in a rock pool on the edge of the water, "that must be nice for you "
