Miss Penny was a strange woman she would get up early in the morning before any body is awake, and head for the twenty-four hour market to buy her grocery. You would never see Miss Penny sitting on her porch in the day time or in her flower garden. She would always be in her house. The town would always ask each other how do Miss Penny keep her lights on, and paid all of her bills. You would never know if Miss Penny was at home, her television would be turn up so loud, you could hear it out in the street twenty-four hours a day.
One day a man tried to break in on Miss Penny and broke out running for dear life as if he had seen a ghost. And to this very day the man never step foot in this town. It made us kids curious to know why Miss Penny was so secretive. So we got to snooping around in her back yard. Little did we know Miss Penny had a big mean dog and she let him loose, I can not tell you how I climb the tallest tree in the neighbor and waited for fire Department to get me out of that tree.
I was in the head line news in the neighborhood for climbing a tree for the first time in my life. After that event we told each other we were going to plan the next investigation with care. We were thinking of things all day to see why Miss Penny was so secretive. So Brady, Miss Penny next door neighbor told us Miss Penny was going to the Market in the Morning. So we plan to get up and follow Miss Penny to the Market. We went to bed early. It was four am and my friends and I follow Miss Penny to the Market and back to her house.
She left the door open, and we had no ideal why. So we went in very quite. Miss Penny was at her kitchen table got up to lock the door. We were scare because we were lock inside her house. We watch her sitting at the table from hidden places. She was counting hundred of dollars putting them in jars, and she had gold coins. She said with a loud voice come out or I will get killer my dog to eat you up. So we came out and she made up promise not to tell that she was a rich woman. And we never told a sold. So you see the secret about Miss Penny was never told. But me and my friends knew that Miss Penny was a rich old Woman that was very low key and stay to herself.
