The Storm

A descriptive paragraph about a raging storm.

It was a dark and stormy night, the sea was angry. Violent waves were smashing down at the rocks on the shore; the boats were running into the dock. The torrential downpour would never stop; the storm grew stronger and stronger. Bolts of lightning slashed through the sky, followed by deafening roars of thunder. My heart was racing more rapidly than a hummingbird's wings. My mind went blank for a moment, I felt winded. I was freezing; the chattering of my teeth would not stop. I could barely stand up anymore, my body was completely numb, and I was starting to think that this storm would never end.
