Why would you kill someone? Brutus is going to Caesar out of jealousy. Brutus is very jealous of Caesar, because Caesar is going to get to become king over Rome. Also Cassius told Brutus that he was not physically fit. Brutus also wants to kill him, because he thinks that once Caesar gets the crown he is going to turn his back on Rome.
Brutus wants to kill Caesar, because he wants the power. He wants the power; because he thinks that Caesar can't control a country like Rome, also Caesar is not any different than Brutus. When Caesar was giving his speech to the people of Rome, Brutus is getting told what happened to Caesar when he was a kid. Brutus was being told how Caesar wanted to swim across a rapid river, and Cassius had to save him or he would have drowned.

He would want revenge; because when he was a boy his father beat him. While Caesar wants to leave Rome in ruins Brutus is not going to let him.
Brutus might kill Caesar; because he might leave Rome in ruins, also he is not physically fit to have the crown, and because Brutus want the power. Caesar is no different than anybody else in Rome. The conspirators want Brutus to kill Caesar and they want him as there leader.
