Cookies and Milk

This is a poem I made one day at home. I actually lost it for a while, and managed to rewrite it even better out of memory. One of my best poems.

I hold on with all my strength,
but it's not enough and I slip,
silent cries unheard,
as I slide from your grip,
what to you is a minute,
for me is a day,
of waiting to be saved,
while my heart fades away,
Forever to drift,
in this ocean of white,
can I be helped,
or am I too far out of sight..?
I sink to the bottom
of a calcium sea,
crumbling and broken,
a composure of debris,
and so here I will drown,
at the bottom of the cup,
eroding into nothing,
until my time is up..
Maybe if you drink fast enough you could salvage whats left of me..
