I am not against love, I have loved and I have lost and I have forgiven and forgotten, but in this world, there are still many who love the feeling of being in love. Some people I know, wait for the day they find their true love and receive their true love's kiss, and I know that most of them are going to be disappointed.
- It hurts like hell and no amount of ice cream, chocolate and cake can fix it
- It makes even a normal, decent, intelligent person go blind. I have met men who have been to the ends of the world for the women they love. And I have met the women who endured the pain, the maltreatment, the beatings all for the men they CLAIM to love.
- It changes you. It is not necessarily a bad thing, it is not necessarily good either.
- It traps you. You can't escape it, it's there, haunting you, reminding you, your heart races, your vision blurs, you wish you were either with that person or you wish you were dead.
- It's great, and it is all that. But sometimes, it's just not worth it.
In fairytales, the love story ends at the moment the characters kiss, it isn't always a “happily ever after” as it is in usual fairytales, for the real love story begins after the kiss. Will they stay together forever? Will they fight? Will their relationship survive? We don't know. And that is why, I give you the basic things to KNOW about love.
Everyone should fall in love, I believe that. In fact, I want people to experience what it is like to be in love, to feel loved, to make love, even just for a second. It is a wonderful feeling which no one can ever put into words. To love is to feel your world turn, even with just the slightest touch. Nobody has the right to stop anyone from loving, even if they don't approve, even if everybody else thinks that it's never going to work. Even if YOU think that it's hopeless, just love.
Because people, are not people until they have love, lost, forgiven and forgotten.
