Health is Wealth

If you have got anything worthy in your life it is your good health. The significance of this statement is best understood when you really don't have it. “A healthy mind lives in a healthy body”. When the body isn't sound and disease free you begin to feel the pinch in your life. You watch the movie, but you can't concentrate or enjoy it in totality because your mind is somewhere else thinking about the other things you missed due to your poor health. You eat your food but cannot enjoy its delicacy. You begin to feel insecure because certain things which otherwise was simply in your control is becoming impossible or difficult for you. There are two consequences. You wish you could enjoy more things in shorter span of time lest it become away from you. You begin to do so. Second conversely, you become indifferent to all these things because you see your last coming soon. You look for solutions of your problems. You visit doctors spends lots of money in spite of your limitation, but all in vain as you soon begin to realize that your sickness defies any prescription for remedy. Gradually due to your limit ness & circumstances -financial, emotional & social you begin to realize that you are destined to cope with all these fateful or should I say fate less life. You go to God for spiritual remedy. As rightly said, “People remember god when they are in trouble.” You take psychological help but it lasts for 2-3 days, when you become busy in daily routine life your physical infirmities begin to hover around you and it gradually kills the entire psychological strong ness you inherited recently. All sermons of looking life positively become a farce. You become subservient to negative circumstances. Nobody is fortunate enough to have a total sound healthy life. Everybody has some health problems but the resistance power differ from person to person. Some people cope with it. Other people fail to resist it-physically, medically & emotionally and surrender to life………….
