How Do You Say Thank You?

Being appreciative of someone's love.

How do you say thank you for being loved?  What are the appropriate words?  How do you thank someone for giving you the gift of non-judgement...patients...understanding...compassion?  How do you thank someone for lifting you up when you are to weak to lift yourself...giving you hope in a future that seemed bleak?  How do you say thank you because they GET YOU...appreciate you...enjoy you for your quirkiness?  How do you say thank you because they adore the things about you that you despise...because they see your faults and love you anyways?  How do you say thank you because they listen to even the most mundane details of your day and are actually interested?  How do you say thank you for the gift of them? And is thank you enough?

What do you say to a person that makes you laugh...lets you dream and helps you find yourself again?  I guess thank you is a start, hoping that they know that those are not just passing...thoughtless words...but heartfelt and meaningful and hoping that I can be who he isn't sure if thank you is enough for.  Maybe if I can be that...then thank you is enough!

You probably just need to show this person this write, for it offers more than thanks, a true world of appreciation. Michael
