Personally when I see a homeless dog or cat roaming the streets I think to my self that they are better off there than stuck in a crowed shelter in a Cage just waiting to be killed by the people trying to help them. Its the sad truth that many cats and dogs never see the loving care that we give to our own pets,but it is nature. As i look at a dog with his ribs sticking out I can only feel for it.
I feel that one of the ways we can help them are to support the creation of spay and neutering clinics, the bill that has come up in California in my opinion is a great idea. By sterilizing most of the dog and cat population we can cut down immensely on the stray population. Another way is to go out and adopt a dog or cat from your local pound, by doing this you are saving the pets live, and you are also bringing tons and tons of joy into yours!
