I'd Even Settle For Quasi-Wealthy
What does wealthy mean? Wikipedia lists wealth as being derived from the old English word "weal", which means "well-being".
Everybody likes a little bit of well-being.
How do we get well-being...or "wealth" as we like to call it here in the good ole' United States. On the Internet, where there is a plethora of help in building your e-wealth (do I trust someone, whoever they are, to take my last little bit of "well-being" to get me more well-being?) , the list is endless.
I have seen "7 Steps To Being Wealthy" - 3 simple steps to wealth...or something like that - don't think Bill Gates used that one...more than likely it was a million steps, one dollar at a time. Then there is "Building Wealth" a tool kit of some kind, I mean really..."IF I HAD A HAMMER...I'd hammer in the morning, I'd hammer in the evening, all over this land - ta - da - oh - oh - I'd - um...Peter, Paul and Mary, holy cow, does that bring back memories....back seat of the blue camaro...home alone (not the movie)...sigh.
Back to the internet...wealth strategies, wealth academies, wealth creation, 7 wealth-builder mistakes...hmm I won't get started on those - and anyway, you know it's probably more like one million e-wealth-builder mistakes.
So, back to my second question, how do you get all of this well-being? Obviously you can't just sit back and expect well-being
to come to you. You have to do something. But what? You can't rely
on luck, it just "don't happen that often".
Is there a smart way to get well-being? Is there fast way to get well-being (if all of you non-wealthy wannabe's are like me - time is of the essence)?
The smart way to wealth would be to invest our savings...stocks...bonds...IF WE HAD ANY!
We could buy into the slow housing market with, excellent credit - ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha...ahem...sorry.
Looks like the only thing left is Luck - or those million steps...Step Number One
