What the world today sees in America is their own children, their on futures, and their own lives. Way before and since the attacks since September 11th, 2001, Americans and other nationalities are failing to notice the homeless children, men, and women of United States and throughout the world.
Everyday we see commercials of African American children who have lost families and homes, and of their sponsors asking us for help. To only send a little money each moth to help support and give those children water, food, medical and a solid education, and if possible, homes. Most of the people I have talked to about this were adamant in their views of not sending money. Why? Because Africa denied us their land and our support. So they ask "Why send money and help to the very people who kicked us out?" . My answer is final and clear. Just because the relatives and descendants denied us access to their land doesn't mean we must punish the children in need NOW. Children are innocent of the transgressions committed by their elders and their descendants. By neglecting homeless children, men, and women around the world in America and foreign countries we might as well stop supporting our own children.
For years now I have listened to people talk about killing the homeless children and adults in foreign countries, and I am astonished at the low percentage of people who are actually willing to help. Let's take Iraq for example: yes, we were attacked by terrorists in 2001, and yes they were Muslim, but is that any reason to Bomb and destroy the innocent men, women and children already homeless by their own country? To not take them into consideration? I can not think about killing an innocent child or adult and sleep soundly at night, nor giving them food and water to drink and a blanket to sleep on and under.
If we are to care so less about people who come from a different place then let's take the families of American terrorists, rapists, and killers and kill their familes, because if that person commited that crime then the family most surely would also. Which is 100% not true. Take into effect the influences in the world. Just sit back and think for a moment of what we can do if we all just reached out and helped a homeless child, man or woman in the United States and beyond, we would all have a better understanding and respect of eachother.
