Leap Year Birthdays Suck

It's sad to wait for four years before celebrating a birthday. When you're a leap year baby,at what age do you actually have a 21st. birthday?

Imagine you have to wait until you are 76 to celebrate your 19th birthday; and you have to be 84 before you can celebrate your 21st. birthday. If you do not live to be 84, you'll never have a 21st. birthday. If you do not live to 64, you'll never have the opportunity to simulate a "sweet sixteen" birthday and celebrate the traditional rite of passage from childhood to adulthood.

Worse yet, if on any year of the every four years when your birthdate arrives, you happen to be ill or going through some major crisis where you are unable to celebrate your birthday, you lose another very precious year.

Those who were born in a leap year have the unique opportunity to really appreciate a birthday. As a result, despite the advancement of years and physical changes; you, your friends, relatives and children should never neglect the opportunity to treat that birthday when it comes around as a special and really blessed day. You should do your utmost to celebrate and enjoy it.

It need not be so terrible. My birthday is on a leap year too, but I celebrate every 28th Feb or 1st March.
