My Mamita is a Concubine According to Chinese Custom

They said in the old Chinese custom that the poor girls are not treated fairly. This is true enough because this is what happened to my mamita. This is her story.

My friend said that we are now living in the 20th century, and we are lucky because we don't have to suffer under the cruelty of the Chinese custom to women. In old ages in China, women are considered as "hsiao ren" by Confucious because they are not favored by their customs and cultures. That is the reason why there is a female infanticide during that century ago. And, the Chinese men are considered as superior and has birth right over the Chinese women.

But, fate also included why some poor women suffered. Only rich women can go to schools and have privelege to marry a rich man. The rich girls have privelege to get a female slave from her hometown at the poor deserted areas where the poor girls live to become the concubine of her rich husband. Unfortunately, the poor girls have no money to go to school. So, they stayed at home to work all the house chores. When they became teenagers they became slaves. When they are at the right age, they became concubines of the rich husbands of their rich mistresses. Unlucky for them, they are not educated. They don't know anything about Philosophy or Religion and even Chinese History or Literature. When these poor girls have children, these children are considered as their mistresses's children. Their rich mistresses are the legal wives. They were given honor and respect in the patriarch family.

My dad said, he has nothing to do about it because it is a Chinese custom. Well, this old custom is sucks!

Things like this make me feel SO sad!!!!! It is not God's way, is it? Jesus died not only to set us from from sin, but from old customs that destroy us. Aren't you glad?
