Promise: I Will This Year

Making New Year Resolutions and keeping them.

Midnight will strike and it will be a new year, It seems like every year people sit down and take the time out to figure out what might make a better year, just to find out that the list only gained cob webs on it, and I believe that we all have every attention to stick to the plans at hand, however things arise and the list gets pushed aside, before you know it another year is coming upon us again, and the cycle starts all over.

Perhaps you will see yourself in a better job that will provide a better income for your entire family, or maybe you are one of those people that see yourself with a more compatible person, that will complete your life and share all those wonderful attributes that you have.

For the most part a new year brings possibilities that only you can obtain, But you must stick to your guns, Make a smaller list this year, one that is obtainable, one that wont be ignored, or placed on the back burner for next year, Make a list that you will be able to be proud of for yourself, keep it real, and if you achieve more than you set out to than that will be a plus. The hard part of a new year resolution are the one's that doesn't give you any motivation to do it.

Twelve months has gone by, and I made a promise to do a few things that I just didn't have time to do or achieve. I am looking forward to a more positive outlook on life for the new year. I have made some new resolutions, to get the year off to a better start; Like be a little more healthier, read more books that will stimulate my mind, go out more with friends, don't let a day go by without telling my love ones , that I love them. I'm sure this year will be a better one than last year. I promise to get more out of life than life has gotten out of me.

As the new year approaches I want to be a much kinder person, I feel life is too short to waste on being mean to people.

For when the clock strikes twelve and the new year arrives, make a promise that will be kept, not something that you will regret of saying , “I promise this year.”
