There is always something you can do to make someone else’s day better. If you do this in turn will make you feel better about yourself. I like to spend time volunteering at union gospel mission cooking.
Sometimes when I drive down town, I will bring pop tarts to give the person standing on the corner. Usually it is the same people and they recognize me. The sad thing is not all homeless people asked to be homeless or made stupid choices sometimes life throws you a curve and you fall flat on your face.
I usually will not give them money but I will buy them food or a cup of coffee. I also like to volunteer at the Jesus kitchen they stand outside on sat nights by hard times and feed people. Whenever I get down about my situation. I try to do something to help someone out. Most of the time you have to reassure
Them that you don’t want something. I understand this most people do not go out of their way to help someone. I am telling you this if we start to think about someone besides ourself we will all feel better and in turn we will become a great nation again. If we do not start to treat other people with respect things can only get worse. I will always give people a second chance if they screw up. I want you to try this for a week and see how it changes your life. Try to do one nice thing for someone this week.
