Spring, a time for new beginnings. The time when birds begin to sing and the animals come out of hibernation. Spring is the best time of the year because the snow is melting away and everybody is happier and more active.
The first reason spring is the best season of the year is because of nature. In spring the nasty winter weather of the ice storms and the mountains of snow start to disappear and are replaced by the warm weather and bird songs of spring. All of nature starts to wake up and come alive again. Nature is one of the best parts of the spring season.
The next reason spring is so great is school. Spring means spring break, a fresh start with new grades and the end of the school year. Spring break brings the much needed break from school after the longest streak of school of the whole year. The fresh start in grades can really save your GPA from the winter slacking and gets your parents off you back for a while. Finally, spring means the end of the school year and summer are right around the corner.
Finally, spring brings March Madness. This means people filling out their brackets and placing their bets. Constant cheering drowns out the sound of the bird songs when you team needs encouragement. Although for most people March Madness ends in heartbroken fans and empty pockets, for the lucky it ends with their team on top and pockets full of cash. However, win or lose, everybody loves March Madness.
This is why spring is the best season of the year. Spring brings great things from Mother Nature, the best part of the school year, and of coarse March Madness. So who would not love wonderful spring?
