Everyday, a person wakes up. They make the conscious choice to get out of bed, or lay there and relax all day. If they choose to get out of bed, as most of us do, they then have to choose are they going to make it a good day, or a bad day. If they choose to make it a good day, as most of us do, that will then take them to another series of conscious choices. "Am I going to let the coffee grounds I just spilled, get to me, or not?" "Is this man that is holding up traffic really doing it to make me angry or not?" "Is it worth me being angry at the boss because he wants me to work an extra fifteen minutes after my shift?" "Am I going to let the kids and their demands for ice cream for dinner ruin a good evening with my family?" etc etc.....you get the idea. Our day beginning and ending on a good note is totally up to us and our choices. Choices are how we lead ourselves through life on a bumpy road or a smooth path.
Now, this must be said. NO ONES PATH IS ALWAYS WITHOUT BUMPS! Due to the imperfections of the Human race and the playing in of emotion, we tend to make our paths bumpy. BUT it is without a doubt that the size of those bumps are clearly determined by the decisions we make. The bumpier the path, the more bad choices we have made.
So here is the challenge:
Is it going to be a good day or a bad day? Decision made? Now go from there...
