What would life be without death? Would it be wonderful or would it drive you crazy? I’m thinking many people who have a phobia of death would think its paradise, but what about people who don’t want to live anymore? These different cases would be extraordinary.
Life without death may betorture for many people. For examples: people with life sentences in jail (for countries that don’t have a limit for life sentences), homeless, disabled, people with serious medical conditions, etc. People below the poverty line may be stuck eating garbage their whole life; that might be you one day (the probability eventually adds up)!
Negative things will always exist in an immortal world. You would have to deal with pollution all your life, and if the human environment disappears, you would have to suffer. You would burn in the sun if you ever made contact with it, but also live through it, if you get caught up in anything that would usually kill, you may even prefer living in hell.
So, you decide, after reading this, would want to be mortal or immortal? No genie will force you to do something like that; it’s your choice, depending on later human development. Contradictory to your wishes, you’re extremely likely going to die in less than 100 years, so how about first live this life that you already have peacefully?
