War—Why?
HAVE you ever wondered why people fight war? Could it be that the key to peace will be achieve If we can answer that question.
Is it part of us?
Some people think that war is part of our makeup e.g. The majority of cultures in times past have gone to war, but notice that the majority of human beings have not been participants
A friend of mine told me ‘you have to trained and preconditioned people’ but now we have bombs instead of arrows , missiles, naval ships ICBM and the the list goes on,that have made the act of war become more impersonal. In contrast with wars of the past the specialized trained and preconditioned people the’ minority’ can kill without actually seeing, or knowing with just a push of a button is all it takes. So what makes people go to war?
Mind control and deception of the masses.
Many leaders are well aware of the importance of mind control and deception of the masses they use that to persuade 'john public' and so it is not if; we are Right that matters but ... Victory.” at any cost
Thus it is clear that a motivation has to be generated to make a nation rise up against another. who generates this ?
Decisions who makes them ?
Austrian economist Schumpeter wrote: “The orientation toward war is mainly fostered by the domestic interests of ruling classes but also by the influence of all those who stand to gain individually from a war policy, whether economically or socially.” These ruling classes have been defined as “elites [that] are at all times involved in trying to manipulate other elements of the population, or the public mood itself, so as to perpetuate themselves in power.”—Why War? by Professors Nelson and Olin.
Even though religion is on the wane in many countries, the clergy can be included in the elite decision-making group. Furthermore, religion has been and still is the motivating force behind some wars. One clear example is One clear example is Shi‘ite Muslim Iran that is waging war with Sunni Muslim Iraq in the year 1980-88. And there are much more And there are much more.
Thus in view of all this can be done? Will there ever be peace? Will you and I or your love ones see an earth without war?
