You know there are a lot of things about this world and the people in it that bother me and even make me angry. So many things that everyone appears to just sweep under the rug, so to speak. How can we as a society be willing to accept the inmoral and indecent acts going on all around us all the time. You may think that you don't see these things, and if so you must not be looking. It is as clear as day that our culture needs a dramadic change.
The new age image of women is very apparent every where you look. Prostitutes, strippers, and porn stars are around every corner. Beautiful women should not disrespect and exploit themselves. The influence they leave upon all the little girls that haven't even had a chance to grow yet is extremely unfair. These women care only about money and will do anything they to get what they want. They allow men to believe it is ok to treat women like trash or a piece of meat. A woman who advertises, sells, and abuses her body is now seen to be cool. Women who respect and honor their bodies are no longer wanted. Women and young girls should take pride in who they are and show the world that women are not just a trophy. Set a good example for all the younger girls. Show them that being a woman is not a game it is a gift.
There are also many men who believe that women belong to them but they do not. Women are not here as trophies or for men to use for their own pleasure. Nor to be judged on their appearance or made fun of when they don't meet the standard. Women are not here to please or take care of men. They deserve respect, trust, and honesty. Women should be treated as equals with their minds and bodies respected to the fullest. How can a man ever truly know the beauty of a woman if all they do is use and abuse them. When will these men stop taking for granted all that a woman has to offer besides sex and her body. When will beauty start to go deeper then the skin we wear. When will a woman's body be something all men cherish and protect instead of something a lot of men use and abuse?
Drug dealers and users are now taking over our streets. What are these people so afraid of that they feel there is no other escape from it? All the young people who think it is so cool to get high. They throw away there lives and hurt everyone that cares about them The dealers who profit off of contributing to the thievery of these young lives have no remorse for what they are doing. I hate the addiction, the way it takes over people's minds and then their lives. So many people could be so much more and find true happiness if they would only stop running, stop chasing that next high. Is that what this society has become a bunch of people who have for fitted the right to think and act in a sober mind, people who allow drugs to pollute them and turn them into people unrecognizable by even themselves. A drug industry that has more money in circulation then any corperation in this county.
Look around you or even at your own children and see what is happening to so many others. Inocence is being lost a little more every second. Children are raped, exploited, and taken forgranted every day. While our society sits back and watches. So many children without food or a home and still no one does anything about it. Little babies who havient even begun to live life are already being abused on a regular basis. The most precious and innocent gift of a child should never be used or abused. I can not imagine how some people can do the things that they do to children. When is someone going to take a stand for these little souls that can't defend themselves? When are we all going to respect the gift of our kids and hold them up instead of bringing them down? We must protect and respect our youth because they are the only hope we have for the future.
People in our culture are so quick to judge and be influanced by TV or the media. Why are so many lies told to be truth. The press, movies, music or society in general should not decide who is pretty and who is not or what is cool and what is not. The outside infuluances should not determen what is accepted as right and wrong. None of us are better then the other. Who says one is better then another because they have more then another or a better job then another. Every member of this society is beautiful and wrong at times. Everyone makes mistakes and some things come easier to some then others. None of this gives anyone the right to decide how anyone chooses to live. People need to accept all the differences we all have and see the diversity as the true beauty of a country that clams to be free.
It is a shame that so many people fall into one or more of these problems. Not to mention all the other problems with our world today. So many men are still going to hurt and abuse women. A lot of women are still going to disrespect themselves and allow men to use them for there bodies. The porn industry is always going to boom. Children are going to continue to be abused and grow up learning all the dark aspects of our society. The drug addicts are going to keep getting high and the dealers are still going to keep making a quick buck. The world is in bad shape and so many people are suffering. Most of all I hope that maybe this has made at least one person ask themselves........... Who am I hurting, what part to I play in contributing to this horrible society, and most of all what can I do to change it?
