I Am a Vietnam War Veteran
by Westbrook, Dec 30, 2008
We fought a ferocious war; many were wounded or died in Vietnam. We were boys who found ourselves fighting with no homeland support. It was as if we were outcasts, with no country. nly our families cared whether we would come home. We were hated in Vietnam and hated in our own country.

Were We Heroes?
by Kathy A Wittman, Dec 28, 2008
Based on my father's unpublished journal entries about his World War II experiences. I discovered his "memoirs" a few months after he suffered a massive stroke in 2002, which left him unable to speak or write his thoughts and feelings. Thus, I have become his "voice" in the hope that people will recognize that our freedoms are never really free.

A Solider Aspiring to Become a Hero
by morningstarbaby86, Dec 21, 2008
This about a best friend of mines that just left for Iraq a few weeks ago. Goodness, of how much I'm missing him and worried sick. I know Iraq isn't too bad how it used to be. But I knew this kid since I was six and he was 8, so its kinda difficult when I didn't even got a chance to say goodbye.
