 | | Declined | | by the pirate, Jan 8, 2009 | | This is me being upset, because the editors of this site wont let me post my own work just because I had several rants and had written that poetry previously on my blog, which upsets me, because it is still my own work... I have not plagiarized any one, it's just transferring my poetry from one site, to another.... | | Comments(0) Liked It: 0 |

 | | Slipping From Reality | | by Dendro Azures, Jan 8, 2009 | | As I immersed myself in music and blocked the sunlight with my hood, scenes to a book began to play in my head. It took me away from reality, if only for a short while. | | Comments(3) Liked It: 4 |

 | | Relevating | | by Jcrowe, Jan 5, 2009 | | About one of my moments, reflecting on human life. Contrary to what you might think, the message is not self-destructive. It has to do with the nature of life on Earth. | | Comments(0) Liked It: 0 |

 | | Living Clay | | by Jcrowe, Jan 5, 2009 | | A poem about Eva-- who would show up every two or three months, out of the blue, as if we had been together every day in between. She's been gone for years, and I'm still waiting. | | Comments(0) Liked It: 0 |

 | | Plot for Sale | | by William L Domme, Jan 4, 2009 | | He tossed the magazine aside onto the floor. A moth, startled from the magazine, took flight from the floor. Etu got up and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. He was going to go to bed early and then saw the double-edged razor beside the sink. He fantasized, as he looked in the mirror at the bathtub, about slitting his wrist in a warm bath. About the scene in the Godfather where they talk about how the roman generals used to do it. He picked up the razor with his left hand while he brushed his teeth with his right. | | Comments(2) Liked It: 1 |

 | | Proposition Eight | | by M Ashley, Jan 4, 2009 | | It takes a great deal of courage to stand up for what one believes in. Melissa Etheridge said it best, "Love is never wrong." This poem honors those who stand for love, and human rights. | | Comments(0) Liked It: 2 |

 | | Don't Step on my Toes | | by Steven Peters, Jan 3, 2009 | | There is the classic "Get off my land" moment whenever you feel that your space is encroached upon. We no longer use guns and big sticks in polite society, but there are times when we have to wonder how we came to disapprove of the simplicity and effectiveness of pointing a gun in the face of an intruder. | | Comments(1) Liked It: 1 |
