 | | My Mother is an Age-Old Ragged Banner | | by AZMM Moksedul Milon, Oct 11, 2008 | | This is based on a very simple idea. In order to make a banner steady against the wind, we need two pieces of tough string to tie its upper ends tight to two strong posts or branches of a tree, two pieces of stone to hang from its lower ends and a few cuts on it for the wind to pass through. Here in this poem, I compare my motherland to a banner, and I believe we still have the string and stone to steady her against all odds. | | Comments(0) Liked It: 0 |
