I Am the Wolf
by Sunny Haddleton, Nov 19, 2008
I lived in Alaska for many years, where wolves are shot by helicopters and high powered rifles from the air. They never had a chance, and this practice is still being used today as "big game hunting". I have had the pleasure of sharing my front yard with a wolf, his lifetime mate, and finally their cubs. I offered my trust, he returned it, and we took pleasure in our friendship. At one point, he came close enough to lick my hand. These are incredible creatures, and we would be so much poorer without them.

I wanted to talk to a man about coming to church. Every time I mentioned the subject he would be turned off, so I searched for a new topic, one he could get excited about. One in which I could lead him into talking about coming to church.
